The objective of this campaign, titled 'Long Winter Nights', was to tempt existing Sky customers to sign up to Sky Cinema.
For the first route, my aim was to drive excitement about the nights drawing in. Often winter coming is seen as negative. I wanted to flip this, creating a sense of urgency for evening by using a countdown timer and the enveloping dark night sky.
The second route focused on highlighting the cosy homely feel that comes with staying in on a cold winter’s evening and watching films. All of us have looked longingly from a cold street at the glowing windows of a warm home, wishing we were inside. This visual captures beautifully what home is all about.
